sweet zombie jesus... by oden's spear... by zues's beard... by merlin's raven...

Yay, I'ma get it. Also if the lower receiver is going to be ABS in the "full metal" version anyway whats the problem with getting the clear receiver version for hundreds of $$$ less if I'm going to be spraying the whole thing OD anyway? Tan is terrable in the green fields I play.

Is this certain? On UN, the AEG is described as Material: Full Metal with Nylon Fiber Stock & Grip

Maybe its a reinforced polymer, but the point I was trying to make to the poster is that the lower on the WE SCAR is not metal.

EDIT: Long-Bong, the lower receiver is not metal.

You've been here since 2005 and you still tried to import something classified as replica firearm?

Importing replica is like going to the casino, sometime you win, sometime you loose...

Spoke to a friend who spoke to a friend who work at CSBA, to quote him: you would be amaze at the amount of replica seized everyday...

I wouldn't mind a non-clear one. The listed FPS range seems more gameable than the WE M4 GBBR..? (I'm seeing 350-400 in most places)

I am hoping that since the lower receiver is clear, despite the serial number being on the upper, that the CBSA will let it pass. I mean, to my knowledge, the AR15 and the SCAR have a similar firing mechanism, so I would assume the same parts that are in the lower on an AR15 are in the lower of a SCAR, and the same for their respective uppers. And they allow clear lowered M4 AEGs through, so I would *hope* they would let in clear lowered SCARs in as well.

There are no clear real SCARs, so the airsoft version with the clear lower aren't replicas.

There are no clear hi-capas either, but the CBSA now says you cant bring em into canada.

Don't bring up the Hi-Capas if you don't know what you're talking about. The issue is with the lower frame on the KJW Hi-Capa, which is quite opaque. The clear pistol grip does not count.

It's still a judgement call on the part of the individual agent who looks at it..

There is a bit of a "smell test" .. if it is not sufficiently distinguished from its replica or real counterpart to be easily recognized as a toy due to its clear parts.. then there could be a problem... somehow I don't think these will pass that "smell test"

retailers that have a effective working relation may be able to get them in .. but I think individuals may still run afoul of the discretion of the the CBSA agent who looks at thier particular package upon import.

this is by no means a "score!"

Sorry I might just not know what you guys are talking about, but what does the serial number have to do with importing it? And isn't the law very solid now that if a rifle has a clear lower receiver it's legal?
