Exactly. A frame like that is a find to get one of those new these days. But oh so sexy.. I wholly regret selling my Illusion 'Capa. It was sex in my hand.

Hard to find, amazing craftsmanship, assuming its a Freedom Art. And plus its Canada, and thats the restricted part, so its costly to get it in country.

Haha, its still possible. But I had a capa with similar parts. That same railed frame, except in black, and with the compensator on the front. But still the stock TM sights and grip. Just the stock capa with a Shooters Design slide and out barrel, and the freedom art rail and a few mags cost me close to 1k.

Flying not a chance, not worth it either you'll get caught and get in a ton of shit.
Driving across, that's up to you. I don't condone it and would never do it, nor do I recommend it, but people have claimed they have either snuck stuff through, or gotten away at the border with declaring it and saying it is an airsoft part, and some agents will let you through with it. Others will take it from you / tell you take it back and return it.\
Edit: forgot to say. DO NOT DO THIS. Expect that they will not let you through. And if you are caught with it without declaring it, you will not be happy with the consequences. You'd be in a legal predicament. Namely, you would be breaking the law.

I guess i'll have to do more searching. They normally ask for booze, tobacoo and firearms... Where do parts fall into?

Restricted parts fall into firearms. Accessories and gear and stuff, the legal stuff, is just general goods purchased. Nothing that they need concern themselves with other than charging you customs fees.

Build quality, the rarity of the item, and mainly because it is a prohibited component (it is the receiver for a 2011 type pistol.)

You're suppose to declare EVERYTHING.

And if you don't know the classification of something, you can just tell them or describe what it is that you're bringing in.

Don't F- around with this. I did once and paid the consequence. I still have 4 more years till my record is clear.
