Try a local R/C hobbie shop for some motor spray,I'v been using the Duratrax Power shot! And you can get a comm. stick from them as well.Cheeper than buying a motor!

Viral, your gun may have sustained damage to the switch, motor or any one of a number of other minor issues as aresult of running the gun with a heavy spring. Removal of the spring will not have fixed any physical problems with the gun that could be impeding it's current operation.

What I would do would be to remove the upper and ensure that the piston moves freely (sounds like you may have done this) and then look at the electrical side of things.

Ahh I see. Not exactly sure where all the switches are so I'll find this out..

The piston is fine I think it could use some more grease though as it's still sticking a bit (it seemed like the gun hadn't been fired/touched in ages when I bought it)..

I'll check out the switches tomorrow and let you know whats going on, aswell as my motor.

Trigger contacts. They're black and kind of burnt looking. Could this be the reason my gun doesn't fire?

Also, should I bother replacing the entire lower if I have a turbo2000 motor? I've read online that this is a great fix for many of the ICS problems (my safety, trigger, selector, switches and just generally would make it fire much better)

Black is bad on the switch. Normally, they are silver-ish plate copper.

You can try to file them clean, as long as there's enough intact material left on both the fingers and the contact block.

It would be best to replace them though.

if your missing your motor height adjuster (bottom screw on the grip) you will have issues. your motor gear will not mesh with your fears and it will freely spin or lock up. It sounds like your contact switch needs to be replaced and you need the botom screw. Is there a small metal plate under the grip on the motor?

I was doing some research - Grey models are the Turbo 2000 - Black are Turbo 3000.. apparently from what I have read.

Well, mine is grey. I think I might have the T2000 and if that is the case I think it's toast (T2000 pulling the spring that was in.. probably m120 = death)

trevor I'll check it out tomorrow when I take her apart to check the motor. Do you know where/what kind of screw that is? (Cause I assume i'd need one for the T3000)

So yeah i took the lower apart today and it seems the switch isn't the problem. The only thing that's strange about the switch is its a little used (not black).. So this isn't the problem.

My motor is the ICS Turbo 2000, it probably died? I guess a replacement is goin down

The motor did have a little circular plate under it..

You can replace a Turbo 2000 with a Marui EG700, but swap the pinion gears. ICS uses a sharper tooth pitch.

Or a Turbo 3000 will do.

Airsoftparts doesn't have it in stock - is there a canadian place that you know of that has it in stock? I know blazingtoys has it but I'd rather not order from the US..

Does anyone in the GTA have a pinion gear puller? I will drive out to have you switch pinion gears on my motor. I live in Burlington, willing to drive out as far as an hour either way for this.

Figured I'd ask before I go out and buy something I'll only use once.

This is driving me fucking nuts. I got the new motor in (which shoots fucking fast as shit) and I shot it and it still fucking jams! it'll basically lock up until I press the forward assist or it just doesn't un lock up with the forward assist, and I have to manually open it. What I have found when I open it is the anti-reversal latch is like stuck in place, when I push it forwards with my finger it unlocks and then works again.. only to get locked later.

Any fixes, or should I just replace the latch.. so fucking close to taking it to a doc.. ridiclous
