If they are not armed, are not hunting you, and do not play airsoft then why use camo that only works on them?

The boots are not to hide your feet but one of the most important pieces of kit you'll ever own. You'll need solid support when running, crawling, etc through the undergrowth and the like.

If you're out all day they need to be light, breathable, and water resistant. If you're indoors you still need that support. Wrapping your gym shoes in rags isn't going to cut it.
I know what kind of boot I need. I spent 3 years do flyer deliver and I still do it. Believe me, gym shoe won't cut it for winter. I have thick shoe with rubber at bottom. I mostly buy hiking shoe because I like to going to my cottage.

Last thing, my brother does hunt. He bought 2 set since it is on sale and I want to try anyway. I does sometime think to try out hunting with my brother.

Give it a try out at a game, and then decide if its good for airsoft. From what I've seen is it all depends on how you wear a your camo. If you're running around you're going to get spotted. If your slower and observant you won't as often.

The only other thing you want to think about was already mentioned: Teaming, with that camo are you going to end up being on the team you want to play on? or will you always be the odd man out?

The only kind of hunter camo I think is really frowned on is the "Real Tree" stuff because it looks stupid. Like somebody wallpapered you with nature. Ironically, it's probably pretty effective.

I don't think deer and what not see colour. Don't quote me on that, not a big hunter. But I'd assume thats the reason. The leaves and trees and all that in hunting camo i'm assuming is just so you look like a regular tree to a deer.

"Deer are essentially red-green color blind like some humans. Their color vision is limited to the short (blue) and middle (green) wavelength colors. As a result, deer likely can distinguish blue from red, but not green from red, or orange from red. Therefore, it appears that hunters would be equally suited wearing green, red, or orange clothing but perhaps slightly disadvantaged wearing blue."

A lot of the camo stuff is just marketing and psychology for the humans wearing it without any actual knowledge of what animals really see.
