Yes, MP5 uses V2 box.
My old MP5 had a Systema mechbox in it, so I can't really say whether or not CA V2 internals are good but I owned 2 AK's made by CA. I was just saying that CA V3 internals are not bad.

sigh, another of these? Okay here goes:
So far according to ratings looking at Arnies which you really should read, people there are really good at it.
Best External: Systema TW5 (Stamp steel, although there's no trades except systema's)
Best Usage: ICS Brand
Best Price: JG

so it seems most pppl say CA for externals...is that limited to the MP5 or is that across the board?
it seems ICS is a lot easier to come by as well.

... ICS is not easier to come across.

Clear ICS yes, but normal ICS no.

Externally, CA is the best, most common brand available in Canada.

CA has pretty much the best externals across the board. There's a couple of exceptions, most notably Real Sword for the AK, but in general you can't beat CA for their externals. Their internals have gotten alot better in recent years too. They still can't quite equal TM for internal reliability but they're still quite good.

ICS all the way!!!! I just played my first all day indoor game at the Mill with my newly adopted child my most awesome all metal ICS MP5SD6, its the perfect weight and length for even people of a sub average shorter stature.....out of the box it shoots 350fps on the nose...put simply it rocks.....even in -10c weather, I was actually really suprised that the 8.4 mini battery lasted me all day??!!!!

I'm totally looking forward to gaming it this spring and summer, I can see its going to get alot of usage,.....I actually bet my teammate that I won't be modifying ever, as I simply see no need to as all of ICS internals are pretty much upgraded from the getgo, great ROF and simply solid......I highly recommend it.

I'm not sure about ICS, but I know there's different levels of G&G clear stuff...

Your best bet would be to get age verified and not worry about the clear stuff, (Unless you're on a tight budget)

I would say that overall, CA would be the top choice. Best quality externals and really good internals too. ICS ranks second IMO, but still excellent. The fact that ICS MP5s come with a plastic lower makes it more realistic like the real deal. CA are all metal, even the lower. I also like that the selector markings on ICS are engraved into the receiver rather than painted on.

yea i haven't had time to get av'ed. i was hoping to do so at TAC09 but i couldn't make it in the end
but i'm in no real rush to get guns. i'm more of a collector...i'm into aquiring, upgrading and modifying. I don't game much.
hey crunch correct me if i'm wrong, but i rmb reading a thread about a JG MP5 that you seemed mighty happy about. i'm guessing that still doesn't compare to CA or ICS though. Are CA and ICS Chinese companies?

CA and ICS are made in Taiwan.
