I like it, it's like multicam except not copied to death and gay.
It still has "I'm an airsofter" written all over it just like Multicam, though.

At least Vegetato is being used by a military force; MC was the direct-to-DVD equivalent of the camo world.

Man Wilson its great camo man!

The idea it is an airsofter camo is crazy, since when is any camo made for airsofters. We copy real life not the other way around.

Agree to disagree....

Like I said above, my mind was changed - it looks very effective. However, I guarantee you that the only people using this outside of Italy (and Italian troops abroad) are airsofters! Does that make it a poor camouflage design? Not at all. Does that somehow make it uncool? Not at all. Should you be reading into my posts further than the words? Nope!

:P :P

Lol :P Well as he sells a bunch of other camos, too, including CADPAT, MultiCam and his own designed patterns, I'd say that yes, he should be able to explane you quite well which one is better for your situation and why! Anyway, that's not a advertisement thread so I'll STFU XD

Wilson, I agree that except by airsofters, vegetato isn't used anywhere else than Italy. But it's the same thing for CADPAT, and does it make it an airsofter's camo?

As for Multicam, probalby that 98% of the worldwide Multicam use is airsoft, but a few american forward air controllers, some RCMP ERT and US DEA operatives have been spotted with Multicam in RL...

Coming from the guy wearing multicam in his sig!

I'm not hating on anything here, I just stated a fact. I'm sure the same comments can be made for ACU, British DPM, Marpat, etc. etc...

I think you misunderstood me. I don't trust a word that comes out of *his* mouth anymore.

@Duff_Man_in_CADPATs: Ah... alright. I've read a bit to understand what you mean. I personally never had any problem but hey, that kind of things happens...

Anyway the para picture I posted before

Having some individuals pick up MC doesn't make it official. I see SQ guys and Montreal police (when they're on strike) wearing stuff like orange/red woodland pants, that doesn't make it officially adopted.

The airsoft and paintball worlds are the only places MC caused a stir (and even then part of its popularity came after it appeared in Ghost Recon).

OK Camo, point one. Lots of camo patterns work lots of places. Black only works a few places. Odd patterns like Veggie, or Auscam can work out here but you'll have to ask yourself if you can get everything you want in it, pouches and the rest or if you'll wind up re-selling it and switching to Cadpat or Flectarn etc.

So step one, go to the local games and see what the crew is wearing. A lot of times that'll be clue one in the safe area. Clue two comes into play when you get on the field. Now you start looking for the folks you can't see and what they are wearing. Then you can see what pattern you're going to want for where you are.

If you're really into this you'll wind up with a closet full of gear so if you really want the Italian stuff, grab it up.

On Multicam, it's designated as "Crye Precision Combat Uniform" in the US military. Stuff that isn't used doesn't get a name. Who gets to wear it and when hinges on the CO's state of mind. Folk in the world of airsoft have really jumped on the bandwagon, but once you perform the "who can't I see test" it starts to look pretty popular.

Definitely agree with you there. I think multicam would work a hell of a lot better in the desert than ACU, but for some reason the recycled newspaper pattern won in the end. Bah.

All HT uses are the old-school US Army Woodland and Tri-Colour patterns, with Coyote-coloured gear. It's worked well for us so far. I try to keep an open mind, though - if I ever see something that would really work well, I'll bring it to the attention of the boys.
