It's not a bb...it's a tumor. But it's not actually a tumor. It's a road map to Earth hidden in the palm of your hand. You will lead the fleet to Earth, only to discover that it is a nuclear wasteland, and your travels will lead you in search of another planet that can sustain human life...but there is unrest in the fleet, and an uprising is at hand. Only you can determine what the last 7 episodes will show us. |

I would strongly suggest going to a doctor for it seeing that medicare in canada is free. Because if you do it yourself you could risk doing more damage to your palm and that would really suck. My brother had once skinned his knee and got a pebble stuck in it and pretty much, anything stuck under your skin can damage the muscle and what not underneath by rubbing against it.

its fine, i have a piece of glass stuck in my hand for 7 years now from an accident, they told me we CAN cut it out but its not worth it as it will work itself out over time, its not hurting anything in there.
but dont be an f-ing retard and cut it out yourself, we have free health care here, there is no need to be stupid like that. |

If it gets lodged in the right places it can cut off circulation to the hand creating more complications.

I had a chunk of shrapnel in my leg... had a scar but the x-ray showed me clear... i ended up getting a pain in my thigh and found a jagged lump... in the end i grabbed my fiarbairned and with a quick slip and a bee stink id mad emy incision and with another jolt i had it pryed out... bit of mortar shell from the live firing cock-up... which was fun being hurled sideways and landing with a tumble and a thud into a forward trench lol... happy days in the TA lol.

lol, i take it for granted that this is airsoft CANADA lol. anywho the bit about the bio bb i think is a little off, how can it be non toxic to the environment, but still be toxic to humans? that doesnt seem right, and also i thought bio bbs needed sunlight (uv light) to break down much like garbage bags.

I think it depends on how deeply embedded the BB is.
I've had a chunk of BB that got stuck in the soft meaty part under my jaw, once (BB shattered, tore skin, half a BB got stuck under there without me realizing it at the time). When it started healing, I could see the lump as well as the white-ish color of the BB under the skin. Since it was right under the skin, I cut an T-shaped incision with a clean X-Acto knife and managed to extract it with tweezers (don't try popping it out like a zit, you'll cause additional tissue damage and most likely scarring/pitting). Since it's on your hand, you might want to do it under a stream of water which will help wash blood away and allow you to see what you're doing more easily. Disinfect the wound carefully after you're done (both for the back alley surgery you just performed and because who knows where that BB had been before taking a vacation inside your body). If it's embedded deeply (where you have to press the skin in order to feel it) seek professional medical assistance. There's all sorts of stuff you can damage if you go mucking around without knowing what you're doing.

I think I may have a bit of a broken BB lodge in my right arm from my first game @ TAC back in late 2005.
The scar never fully healed it's like a lump on my arm and it gets real annoying (itches) from time to time ... it's like a 3mm mound of scar tissue. Hmmm .... where's my Xacto Knife...I can post pics for interested parties of my findings XD |

go get it x-rayed, seriously.
I had a friend that had the smallest piece of glass stuck inside of his foot and he left it there for 6 months. After 1/2 a year it started to swell slowly, and over a month time his foot doubled in size due to the swelling and becoming very painful. If you are about 80% sure that there might be a BB in there its worth the effort to go get an xray. save yourself some pain incase it does eventually get infected if there is something lodged in your hand |

Screw YouTube, MetaCafe! I can make money off of that! I think it might be a very small piece because when I got the wound I didn't notice anything at all whatsoever it looked like an average bleeder. |
