Plastic DBoys are sturdier than plastic CYMA or are you comparing steel to steel? Just curious because my CYMA stamped steel 60th anniversary AKS-74U cost me $350 and is a brick.

CYMA does not make a stamped steel AKS74U, all CYMA AK's are made out of pot metal.

Hmmm...that is quite odd. The receiver on my AK is heavy as hell, wont scratch except with massive force from a hard metal object, and is very magnetic. Also all over the package (and various websites that sell it) it says stamped steel. That would mean everyone lies and CYMA have discovered a ferro-magnetic potmetal alloy.

Oh yeah, and I weathered it with some sand paper and it rusted brown and orange after a damp game. It is stamped "CYMA" inside the receiver and on the outside of the mechbox shell.

So what is this new magic potmetal alloy that has all the properties of steel but isn't? All my potmetal parts on other guns rust white and grey, scratch easily, are not magnetic, and don't weigh too much.
