I doubt it can take a SD or TK grip on a KWA, if so you definitely need to modify it....

The PTP line came out in parallel with the KSC full metal System 7 pistol, so I am guessing they are the same guns but without trades....

At the moment I don't know who if any makes metal barrel, slide or anything for the KSC 2011(old or new), so I'd expect it'll be hard to find those parts...

I just noticed that it has a tapered barrel.

Also, could I polish her?

The KSC version, which I'm told has CNC slide. So if that has the same deal, then yes....

If it is pot metal though you might want to seal it somehow....

Mines JUST like that, minus the trades.

Would the slide and mid-frame be of the same material? If so, I'd love to turn it silver.

The mid-frame I am guessing is pot metal....which would tarnish for sure. You could try it and if it doesn't work out you could always repaint it...

Thanks RM. What else would be "silverable"? Sorry to ask questions like this bro.

I'd like to do the hammer and trigger as well.

I'll get some pics posted when I'm done.

OK. I just opened her up.

The outer barrel is plastic. I'm guessing the KSC is the same since the guy in the post didn't silver his.

The inner barrel assembly is marked " STI "

Yeah as with most new KSC stuff, like their Full metal M9 and 1911A1, the frame and slide are metal and outer barrel is still plastic. I am assuming if any part is actually made of metal you can probably sand and polish it down. I've done it to all of the metal parts in my Hi-Capa(before eventually replacing them), as said the only problem is the zinc-alloy potmetal oxidizes and tarnish real quick...
