Don't bring stuff like that in the plane. You usually ends up on the newspaper front page OR/AND in a white room with one light in the middle.

dang...i guess i'll order the G&P crane stock and guarder motor from Ehobby (shipped to Vancouver labeled "hobby parts") or whatever and get the G&G mechbox and pmag mailed straight from UNcompany and Redwolf or from the US.

Typically your luggage is scanned by a computer on the way to the outbound baggage carousel. If they have a problem with your bag it won't be directed to the plane and you will be forced to either meet screening staff at your bag or be brought to a viewing room to watch them inspect it via CCTV. I've seen all types of wierd things trigger a false positive like broken alarm clocks, and multiple tubes or cans of whatever.

They are pretty picky about what loads on a plane through checked baggage (rightfully so), so I'd mail it if I were you.

I think you'll be fine.

The Mechbox does not look like a gun or explosive device, trigger or not, and the PMAGs are of no concern - as they are ABS.

Remember, though - if a Customs Officer sees anything unusual in your luggage, be prepared to explain what it is. Neither item is controlled, so don't worry - be honest, and forthcoming if you're asked what it is.
