I just finished working on a client's gun and it had a systema M120 mechbox and it was the most silent+least recoil gun I've ever touched. The thing was so recoilless I didn't even think that I was shooting anything. It was insanely quiet too

I was shooting about 380ish with my M4 on .2's at BWII but used .25's all day long and they seemed to be just enough to cut through. .28's would have been better but I didn't feel like compromising on FPS too much.

He was a brand new player and purchased the gun on the field. Didn't know any better....

I would have tossed him a bag of .2's at the very least and then let him run a mag of .25's so he'd know better. Only thing I use .12's for are the mix I use in my multipurpose nades (XMPB4) since there aren't individual tubes to load up the BB's. I have a jar of orange ones from Duckman and it give a nice spray when mixed with white/black .2 and .25's

If it was Horton's Kraken at the Quesnel game, it likely already had a downgraded spring in it. I only remember one gun being hot there when we chrono'd and that was an M4 shooting 385 with black 0.25's. We did confirm it was shooting black metaltech 0.25's. I'm not sure if it was your KWA?

Regardless we don't have a problem with the fps but club rules state anything over 1.49 joules is semi-auto only. I'm sure anyone would agree that getting lit up full auto with 0.25's at 385 could be quite painful, especially in terrain with hills and brush where you can occasionally stumble upon another player at nearly point blank range, not to mention the last game when it was getting dark and visibility dropped even more.

twsmith i believe that m4 was mine, it was the only one that was chrono'd at 385 it was the two tone tan and gun gray. yes i was running .25's and my pistol was running .25's and it chrono'd at 395 if i remember correctly. i also think it was your battery i used to chrono my gun since mine was dead.

My M4 only chrono'd 380-390 with .2's!

385fps with .25's is 1.72 Joules.... with .20's you're running about what... 430fps!!!

ya that would sound about right like i said i really needed to chrono it so i would know what to make my m.e.d would be for safety reasons.

i need to rechrono my pistol using .25's and then .2's, because 395 for a pistol on .25's is kinda hot and. its a hfc m190 from my experience with pistols is the hfc and cheaper brands like that shoot very low.

The Kraken is low end and they are 370fps with .2's stock lol

Different BB weights affect pistols differently than AEG's. Pistols lose less FPS when going to a higher weight.

yes this i know but it the fact of it shooting 395 with .25's.
the pistol is a hfc full metal m190 the last one i had broke in
the first game. it was made very poorly but as most of the
knock off brand gun's are getting better than some of there
high end counter parts. iv been in and out of airsoft for 7
years and this is the first time i have ever heard of a gas
blowback pistol shooting at this fps.

As for MED, 20-40 feet is generally the given up to 450fps on most of the fields I've been at.

I think it's funny that a stock springed KWA M4 can scare people to the point they need to confirm it's under 500fps! KWA all the way! lol
