it is a really nice gun, but I wouldent use it because of the amount of stuff on it.

Nice build once again ILLusion. Can't say this is the best looking gun you've built imo. I like the all silver SHPD Inifinity and the STI eagle hybrid better but it looks like this gun is a great performer though.

That's the thing, it's not a field gun.

It's a purpose-driven gun built specifically for competitive practical/target shooting.

If I took this gun to a Mil-Sim or some other tactical game, it'd probably take me longer to unlock it, draw it, and fire than if I had a bone stock Sig P226. The controls on this gun are so exaggerated, that I'd be surprised if it didn't get hung up on a piece of gear! Never mind finding a closed "tactical" holster that would contain and protect a gun like this...

I agree - definitely one of the uglier daughters in my stable, but she performs like a champ - which is why she gets the biggest workout. She's no princess, that's for sure. lol!

Again -- Another beautiful build. I hated hi-capas until about 2 weeks ago when you started posting them.

As per Skladfin's request, I just did a grouping test.

Distance was 31 feet.
Tokyo Marui 0.30g Superior Grade BBs
Shot two handed with no support in isosceles stance.

woah dude.

That's almost better groupings than my KWA M4 with Madbull tightbore + strike chamber at 30 feet WITH support and rifle scope.(With Metal Tech 0.25g black BBs)

That's very darn good gun you have!

I just realized I haven't cleaned this barrel in 2 years. I'm going to clean it now and re-shoot... and see if that makes a difference.

LOL. Yes, this one's definitely a keeper.

... well.. until I build something better.

Here's more proof that cleaning your barrel really does wonders:

So what would that roughly be? Groupings the size of a Toonie from 31 feet?

I blame the stray shot to the bottom left and bottom right to too much caffeine today. Plus, I'm hungry right now... getting the shakes. You'd be hungry too, if you spent all your lunch money on airsoft.

So your lunch money would be 1000$. LOL

Anyways, time to clean my barrel too! Thanks for reminder!

oh dear, I gotta try to beat this build now with my own. Brian, you think switching yours from a 6.03 inner barrel to a 6.01 will make your accuracy better? god knows it'll add to your fps...

Looking at that parts list, I don't even want to guess how much that cost.
