Rukus, yea I forgot to add that lil bit of info. Yea the CO/RSM of your unit can enforce certain rules like issue kit only. Thankfully I'am with the Patricia's an they are really good on allowing non issue kit.
Ace of Spades, theres KAC rails in the system. AFAIK it's just an admin/supply issue of you getting that.. ie proving you need it for work. A lot of guys either don't know that or don't wanna go through the bother an just buy their own. But I don't doubt a unit(especially 3PPCLI) would buy that kind of stuff for it's troops.
