Usually, the firm's reps sit back while LE perform the raid. It's very "why don't you sit down over there" style. The definition of 'goons' needs to be clarified. I've been a 'goon' over at some fake Viagra/Cialis factories. We don't really strongarm them, we mostly say "Hey buddy, your time ran out. You're kinda fucked, now."

Once more, IP laws exist in China, they just aren't enforced all that well. Once you get pissed enough to hire a company whose employees used to be police officers, PLA, government bureaucrats with AIC, the problem gets sorted out right quick.

Situation is bad. They took Paul to police station and that isn't a good sign.
Ten police officers and two english speaking(we think american) raided our shop and handcuffed us all. English speaking gave orders to translaters who then told police officers to take our computers and our stock of gears. After they took everything they let us go but they took Paul with them.

Also there has been China wide raid to bust airsoft factories because of mainland security before summer olympics. This far we know that Dboys and JLS has been raided.
