You check for connection of a wire by touching the probes to each end of the wire. To check for a short between two wires, you touch the probes to each wire. Because the red wire is split by the trigger, you have to consider the two wires to be actually two pairs.

Because the website has links to shops that do repairs and upgrades.
Instead of buggering it up anymore why dont you look into contacting some of those shops.

its okay, i fixed it, somehow there was a break in the wire in the mechbox i soldered it back together. And Tokoy7 i thort u said rewireing it was way out of my league, i managed it fine and i did it in about 2 mins flat
