From what I understand, the kiffiyeh is worn loose on the head with a donut shaped cordon to hold it in place. It's their equivalent of our dress shirt and tie.

ya, i was planning to get the traditional red and white or black/white, but seals doesn't have it. and also its goin to take weeks if i order it from other countries. i'd rather drive down at seals.

What's your rush man? I'm sure you have alot going on in your life, thus the time it takes for it to get to you should fly by. You have lots to choose from and it is authentic made and from the area. Like the Heinz says "Best things come to those who wait."

heh....almost bought this one just because its my fav color but i really wanted an od one instead

^^ for fashion obviously, but i wanted a more militant color look so i stuck with getting an od one

doesnt bother me if its not authentic or was made for fashion. its still functional

LCF? .........if i wore it in an airsoft battle with people we know around here nobody would even notice let alone know that its military gear or even the name of it. so authentic doesnt really matter for my situation

i got mine in the mail today. it looks exactly like the od one knivezs got from that seals place. i hope the color fades a little after washing.
oh and it came with a hole in it, looks like moths or something got it

Vlad at Surplus IG has shemaghs for $20 bones, picked one up in store..looking forward to trying it out in July at the big game....could prove very useful....good quality...

I hand wash mine in the sink (lukewarm water) with mild detergent.
