Please fill out your profile so us users can see if you are from Canada or not. If you are from Canada, it is illegal to import replica guns into Canada without a proper firearms license. T7's copy and paste message should show up soon...
Anyways, about the guns you are asking. All airsoft guns are different and it is a matter of personnal preference. Maybe search this forum or google it to find a review about them. Please read the FAQ's...

jg g36c for around $300, good basic gun. Get age verified and you'll have so much more to choose from. Ps If you live in Canada and are trying to order cross border, kiss your money goodbye.

Both from non-Canadian website, prices do not reflect what the market is in Canada.
As for the car comment. The point of owning an Elise IS to say you own a lotus. |

Im gona let you guys take care of this one. Im not a robot. But I will offer this.
CrazCo, theres a couple a things to understand before you embark down the path of airsoft. The way our laws work in Canada in regards to firearms and replicas makes airsoft a very sketch thing. It also makes it a very hard to aquire thing. Just keep in mind that its fine to look for something on an american website, just remeber that it cant be shipped to Canada without the risk of it getting seized by the CBSA. Even if a an american retailer says they will ship to Canada, the truth about that is once it leaves their hands and they have your money, they dont care if it gets seized. The airsoft guns that are brought in Canada have their costs reflect as well. In short the reason why an airsoft gun costs more here is that it requires a special very extremely hard to aquire license that not just anyone can have. With that said, even with the license the importer has restrictions and can only bring in so many at a time. Costs are reflective of all this work in Canada, shipping, taxes, tariff, freight and handling plus the profit for the importer will all be factored into the new price in Canada. So a simple 100 dollar gun in the USA could be 300-400 here. On that note thats why you dont see many low end brand guns in Canada. If you have to spend 150-200 dollars on every airsoft gun you bring in, why would you want to waste it on some heap 40 dollar piece of shit? Of course a person would bring in something worth the costs. All my numbers my not be accurate but you get the idea. One more thing, please dont ask what guns are good. This website has a review section, if you dont find it there. You can find a review for it somewhere on the internet. If you cant find a review and the gun appears cheap, it most likely is.

Hmm, gives me an idea. We should have a forum bot that posts T7's excellent post in any thread where the title has the term "new to airsoft" or some such. :P

It would be overwritten and taken over to spam porn, cheap cell phone scams and shoes.

Many of us have obtained our "good" airsoft guns from retailers that no longer exist or are going out of business. Some people have had their airsoft guns for many years prior to change in Canadian laws.
This website also has a buy and sell forum. It contains both new and used and used + upgraded guns or all brands and designs. To access it one most go through a process called age verification. Where you would meet with a ASC age verification rep who will check request to see a piece of legitimate government issue ID to confirm you are 18 or over. There is no way around it, in person only, no phone, no webcam, nothing. Once the process is complete and the process can take a while since this is all volunteer work, you will be granted access to this websites buy and sell forum. Without age verifacation there is no way to access it. With age verification comes the ability to purchase from a Canadian online retailer known as shootersoft. Shootsoft uses ASC age verification as well, unfortunetly there is no way around it either. Finally there is 007 airsoft, another inline retailer, they also have an 18 and over policey as well.
