There is a Safariland model available which supports the taclight option on the 45. It has been listed above. |

One thing I found with Safariland and a KSC G19 is fit. The KSC is slightly wider than the real Glock, and there is no adjustment for that on the 6004. I used a heat gun to soften the ABS of the 6004, installed the KSC, then put it in the freezer for a while to set the plastic. Now it fits the KSC just about right, but it's still a little snug. In it's stock form, you could only get the G19 in about 2 inches, and it was a tight fit at that.

Not that I doubt you, but I never had that problem with my KSC Glock 17.

It's funny. I have 2 SERPAs, one drop leg and one belt mounted. The G19 fits the belt mounted one like a dream, but the drop leg is incredibly tight. Now, both SERPAs are for Glock 17/22, and I bought them for my 22, but figured I could use them for airsoft as well. The Safariland is made for a Glock 19 w/M3, and the M3 portion fits fine. I think it was the overall width of the slide that caused the poor fit.

I have a TM Glock 17, thinking of going drop leg serpa, but after reading some of the feedback regarding fit, i may go with safariland...will a TM G17 fit serpa drop leg properly?...anyone?

If the SERPA is made for a Glock 17, it will fit a Glock 17.

I have a TM g17 and a 6004 and find the fit is way too snug. Anyone else have this issue?
Found a thread on Arnies (I think) a while ago stating that the lower frame on the g17 is a little larger than the RS, and highlighted the areas to file down for a proper fit. Either that or I'll have to grab one of the guarder lower frames, which I think is the right size.

Not a tension screw issue at all. I'll see if I can find the article.

Remove the holster from the platform, and apply heat with a heat gun to the area where the slide would normally rest until the ABS softens up. Then, stick the gun in the holster and stick it in your freezer until it hardens up. Then put it back on the platfrom and you should be good to go.
