So some people seem to say. Really, I find my plastic guns to feel more like toys. That's one of the things I love about the M9 - its weight and feel. Honestly, I hold my WA 92FS "Perfect Version" and it feels like a toy, even though it's much higher quality. I love my new TM P226, but it also feels so lightweight and toy-ish compared to the KJ (and the irony is that they're actually ALL toys! lol).
I can imagine if you spend the big bucks for high quality metal frames and slides for a TM or better gun, it will feel much more solid and 'real' than the KJW will, but for the price, I think you get a whole lot of bang for your buck, even compared to the higher quality ABS guns.

I agree. A higher quality metal other than cheap pot metal would make KJ guns a LOT better than they currently are.
And yes, I agree about them feeling like steel. Not sure what it is about my WA, but it just has this 'cold' feeling, and the finish just looks so realistic. But I've fired the real 92FS on many occasions, and in terms of weight, WA just feels too lightweight for me. In that sense, the KJW just feels so damn good.

Well, thanks for the vote of confidence there, but I hardly consider myself an expert on anything airsoft. I just know that my gun shoots hard and straight, and has been completely reliable after over 1500 rounds. And I have't yet experienced the dreaded "broken trigger spring syndrome" that these guns are known to have. But I do have a spare spring on hand just in case that were to happen. Let's just say that with my guns, as with anything else I buy, I did my research before forking over my cash. And from all I'd read, I figured that for the price, no other M9 model could touch this gun.

I cant tell the difference between my full metal tm 1911 and my real one. On numerous ocasions i've tried to put the gbb mag in the real one.

KJW are the shit. but the reason they keep their current level of quality in their guns and wont be upgrading the pot metal anytime soon is to keep the prices down. thats why KJs are such a bargain.
WA guns and KJW are in different leagues for different markets, they can't be compared. |
