They do sell "coolmax" balas but they are expensive as hell. I'd rather put that money towards a full mask.

I wear one in the winter time. But after the winter is over I dont use anything to protect my face. Just keep my mouth shut. I have seen BBs shatter teeth, go up noses and ears and stuff.

Wear a mouth guard if you're worried about your teeth. Not the regular sports one, go to a place that sells boxing and martial arts stuff and get a combatives double mouthguard. You don't need the massively high end one, you aren't gonna stopping a freight train with it; just get a small lightweight one that'll be comfortable and that has a good breathing opening.

Otherwise a hit to the skin will most likely make you bleed, but it won't leave a mark much bigger than the actual BB.

Just say puberty hit again at 400 fps.

just google coolmax balaclava

I can't remember for sure but Underarmor was making a coolmax or similar version too. There was an asc member selling them (I just tried a search for him here but he does not show up) I remember them being $30+.

Fairly sure you will find them at a local military surplus.

lol I just found this now through google. Balaclava, Coolmax with Neoprene Face Mask. coolmax cool, neoprene hot in summer. Kind of contradicting. Amazon.com: Balaclava, Coolmax w/Neoprene Face Mask, Black: Kitchen & Dining

Finally there is always ebay. This one has a huge eye opening though. Not really linking it. Could be the way it fits on her though. http://cgi.ebay.com/Oxford-CoolMax-B...sid=p1638.m122

Wearing a bala and getting face shot is still going to hurt like a biach though.

I guessing you don't like the look of Shemagh with your kit? http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=13814

I use ir only in winter and for CQB games.

It provides some protection. Better than nothing but much less than a neoprene mask.

Our limit is 350fps

+1.
Root canal after my third airsoft game. Find something for your teeth, for sure. Dental plans are great, but they don't stop the pain of an RC.

^lol. My 'no balaclava' was more like $600, but that's kind of redundant, isn't it?

Point made.

BUT, they're gouging on international shipping.

Any ideas on taking a balaclava and adding some kind of hard material in front of the mouth? Some kind of thin plastic insert? I'm not too worried about my face, but I am worried about my teeth.

??? kevlar for bbs???? overkill and cost.

I was thinking more along the lines of cardboard under the bala or leather with holes in it.
