-Find out about airsoft. -Find local people/places -Contact the local people/places -Go see -While seeing, look at the equipment really used and what else is needed. -Arrange to buy what I need When I started, finding people was difficult as there were no real centralized sites like this one. This meant I went and bought a gun for a few hundred dollars more than needed, but I got a decent gun anyway. Someone here probably still owns it. Then I found out others were in this game, the rest took time. Last edited by Greylocks; January 9th, 2008 at 15:27.. |

I started off with the guns myself, but I was in it for the collection aspect. I made a noob error for my first gun but quickly learned and got decent guns. It's only when I found out that there were actually others playing these large, organized airsoft games that I started slowly equipping myselfg with the other required gear.
I've yet to play a 'real' game, but hope to get involved regularly this coming summer.

Nice to see some more Montreal player. It's unfortunate that you're probably under-aged though.
Tanaka M700 AICS. Stock, still needs upgrades, shoots about 395fps. Price: $944.95cdn. If you think that 944$ is too much for a sniper rifle then you don't belong in airsoft. That is probably because you are too young; still not a decent job or still no job at all. Start saving, to be a Sniper in airsoft you need about 3 500$cdn. To play anything else in airsoft, you would need about 1000$ If you can't afford that; go back to canadian tire with your clearshit. Airsoft is 18+, Airsoft is pricey, Airsoft is NOT about buyairsoft.ca. If you wish to pay less, prove to us that you are at least 18 years old by meeting face to face with one of the Montreal Age Verifier. Once that's done you can buy used airsoft stuff for less. If you're still serious about airsoft, you are 18+ and you're willing to start saving your money then come see us at the Action Commando when we play, it's open to everyone and everyone will gladly answer your questions, show you their guns and even maybe let you shoot it.
