I bought Crosman Google with a polycarbon lens. Get a 300fps at close (10-15 feet) and get nothing on it. Don't know about a 400fps direct shot....but cost 20$ look cool and good to play indoor.
http://www.canadiantire.ca/browse/pr...romSearch=true or look for Crosman, and check the second page ! Other than, 50$ +

If you have issues with fog, put a fan in them. JT have made what they call "Vortex Fan" that clips on top of the goggle, however it is somewhat loud and others around can hear it. G&G have made a kit to put on top of the goggle as well. It is around 25$ at the hong kong shops. It is a lot quieter, end can easily be installed on most other goggles and masks (I have one both my Bollé X500 and V-force Profiler). It runs of 2 AAA batteries and makes almost no sound while switched on. You only hear it when you are sitting totally still. But then it is a source of panic as you think the whole world can hear where you are (it's all in your head as the person beside you are unable to hear it).
Fog will always be a problem. As soon as you start to move around moist will build up on the inside of the goggle lens. Anti fog treatment only prevents it from sitting on the lens by altering the surface tension. But eventually water will be on the lens. |

Hit a paintball pro shop and see if they have a mask in stock that uses the Spectra lenses. The mask can be removed from the goggles, as stated earlier. The plastic frames are malleable to faciliate removal and replacement of the lens and will withstand paintball and BB hits without problem. Be sure to get one with a thermal lens - while not flawless, they certainly do make a big difference. I find that I, the Fogger of All Lenses, will generally fog my glasses long before my thermal lenses. If you don't mind doing the legwork, try to find a used set on a painball forum. You may be able to score a set for $20-25 if you're lucky, and even if you have to replace the lens right away (at $40/ea for thermals) you'll still have saved a fair amount over the $90 or so new at most shops. Failing that, you can either purchase a pre-made fan as stated above or else make your own from computer fans. Colin_S has made several of these for the Ghosts. |

I've tried to look for some on craigslist and kijiji.. I was thinking but I'm not sure if I want to buy a used one.. With all their sweat and maybe acne?
If not, I'll try Bass Pro. Last time I went there looking for stuff, they were sold out of the Goggles for Airsoft but had JT masks. |

A thing I have bit of trouble understanding is how paintball masks are compulsory for many airsoft events, when manufacturers like JT and V-force specifically states, when asked directly, that they do not guarantee safety when used for airsoft. Specifically the Flex-7 and Pro-Flex are known for not stopping BB's from penetrating the face guard, Which have chipped quite a few teeth in the years.
How can it be that the companies which insures the fields and demands protection designed for the activity accepts the fact that manufacturers for the eye and face protection do not guarantee safety for that same activity? The only masks that I know of that is specifically designed for airsoft is the mesh masks and we all know that they do not provide sufficient user safety. I don't know if you guys in Canada have legal regulation regarding game safety. But in Denmark we need to wear face and eye protection that covers the whole face and both ears and is manufactured specifically for airsoft. Some even interpret the law as all skin needs to be covers in order to comply with the law. This means that we are unable to comply 100% with the law due to the reason stated above. |

sorry, i dont actually have them, i use a V-force Grill mask. I believe tattooedfreak_1 (AKA Jim) has them. i saw him using them last game i played. i dont know if he cut off the face portion, but it didn't seem like he did, so it lead me to believe that they were removable.
Dye Goggles: http://www.canadianpaintball.com/mai...ty/maskdye.htm JT Goggles: http://www.badlandspaintball.com/gogglesafety.html V-Force Grill: http://www.specialopspaintball.com/s...p?SEARCH=Grill Empire: http://www.canadianpaintball.com/mai...maskempire.htm I think full face protection is a necessity, so i would recommend the Grill or even the Empire E-Vents. Between the two, i like the Grill for looks. Hope that helps |

Friendly advice, I would really, really recommend reading and rereading all of ASC front to back. If you thought: 1. we didn't check for goggles type; 2. ski goggles are ok; you're both not reading up on game rules (goggles type are mentioned) and searching before asking (someone else has asked this before).
As someone who's underaged, you really can't afford to screw things up in person. Showing up with a pair of ski goggles would've been one of those screw ups. Since we can't/don't want to cover everything that you could mess up on, it's really up to you to study more yourself. Who knows what else you could've missed?

i thought snowboarding goggles weren't capable of withstanding bb's hurling at hundreds of feet per second.
