Haha I'm sure the moment I got my paws on one of those I'd be just as excited!

That's the SAR Taktik right? Actually looks pretty sweet.

About the CA53, I have yet to look into it. What was once an easy decision just got a whole lot harder. Thanks for the great input guys. Any opinions out there on the SAR M41 SG?
NOPE, not a SAR Taktik, thats my old CA33E I had. An good to see its still being loved.

It's a beaut, but a little front-heavy. I prefer the balance of the fullstock.

Use a G&P 249, after half a season no gun feels right unless it's front heavy lol

I've been told that an MP5 PDW stock will fit, or a G&G UMP stock. I've tried a TM MP5 PDW stock, but it didn't fit without some heavy dremeling. If you find one that works without any modification (and someone who SELLS one...) then let me know...

My CA33e has been without a stock since December.

Hey, new to these forums. Gonna get age verified asap. I have a ca33e, I was wondering if there is a simple way to remove the front sight? Preferably without grinding it off. I've looked around for stuff on that, but either missed it or there wasnt anything.

I'll post a picture of it when I can find my camera, and I'm also interested in getting a folding/collapsable stock for it, some of those were pretty slick looking.

Taking a quick look at mine, I think that the sight and everything forward of it until the flash hider is one piece (inner barrel excluded). I think if you wanted to remove it without shortening the barrel to make it an HK33k, then you'd need to actually grind it off.

I can't really see a reason for doing this though, unless you wanted to replace the H&K style sights with something else, and that sir, is blasphemy.

Well I was thinking if it was easy to remove I would, it sits in my red dot. But after a bit more time with it, I don't notice the front sight anymore when I'm using the dot, so it's all good. I do like the look of the RIS on the ca33 though.... hmmm.

Yeah, I was trying to avoid that actually. However, further consideration leads me to believe it might be easier to use if I raise it anyways. I'll play around with it some more and see what I come up with.
