Thank you, I am so sick of the one piece reversable screw ons, they look.... typical and boring. The QD looks way more impressive and "tactical" IMHO.

Yeah, sorry for the thread jack there.

You can also check out http://www.uncompany.com, or just look up parts on manufacturer's websites and ask a Canadian retailer to import it for you.

Ya I really like the setup Jugglez sugjested for me, simple with an M4.. AK length tightbore, 80 or so mm QD M4 tac silencer, fits right over the flashihider, barrel reaches not even 3 mm to the end, hides it perfect and looks awsome. Doesnt extend the gun more then 3 inches, and gives great accuracy and range boost.

I cant find it now but there is a co in the states that makes mock silencers that go fully over the outer barrel with an adapter looks like a CQB front end when on does not reduce muzzel blast

apologies for conducting threadromancy (resurrection of a dead thread...) but I desperately need help regarding the G&P front end RAS kit.

I've had mine for more than a year and a half and I still cannot get it to fit correctly.
I mailed the supplier, but the only advice they gave was "use brute strength", don't want to go breaking anything so I'm begging for some help.

I'll detail anything about the kit that's requested. But its really quite a basic front end replacement.

Please help

a fine idea, and it is possible to get the gun to a well respected 'gun doc' but seems an awful lot of fuss for what appears to be a simple issue.

I'm based in the UK and have regular contact with the team at Zero-one airsoft
as well as other helpful contacts etc. As point of interest, in the pictures on page 1 in the 1st picture "KA-RAS-02" there is a small metal ring,

this was the message i got from Wolf Armouries:

"Hi there,

This ris is a free float ris that require washer rings to be fitted
correctly (should have been provided with the RIS.)

The key to fitting this RIS is brute strength i am afraid.
You would need to screw on the ris with the washers and make sure the
top ris of the ris unit ALMOST meets with the top ris of the body.
About 1 cm till it lines up.. then its a case of using whatever tools
in hand to force it till it lines up. After that it should be rock
solid.

hope this helps

Wolf"

The kit I have (the G&P kit) had no washers or rings, only what appears to be the main component parts of the Free-float hand guard.

Failing any help that may be offered here, I guess its off to the shop.

I wanted a silencer that goes into my barrel too and a guy from airsoftparts.ca suggested this. What do you guys think? Is this too long or does it look stupid?
