Sadly there's no molle attachment point or any kind of attachment point on the rig unless you're talking about the custom version from SKD but on the one from Eagle the options are next to none.

i was thinking like this, as it has no integration with the vest whatsoever. |

Just a query, any chance that this will fit standard 7.62x39R or AUG mags in the regular mag pouches? Looks like the velcro can expand to fit the taller height magazines, but i'm wondering if it's capable of holding the wider mags.

I think you're on the right track for a sling. You want something that attaches at the butt plate and allows you to push that rifle back and away from your sidearm for a good transition.
As for the Eagle rig, it's my new favourite piece of kit. If I had to do it again, the only change i'd make is to purchase the SKDTAC model which is also made by eagle, but instead of the dual SABER pouches has molle attachments...you can strap on more ammo or GP's or whatever you like. Great as a second line in a three-line system. Last edited by MadMorbius; March 3rd, 2009 at 21:46.. |

Oh ya, as far as Grimlocs go, the only place you can put them is on the 1" elastic that compresses the mag pouches. There isn't anywhere else, such as on the shoulder straps, that has 1" webbing that they can be used for attachment. |

Mad morbius, is there anything else on his torso than the eagle rig? or is just over the BDU.

If by "his torso" you mean "my torso", no there is nothing else there. I'm wearing the Eagle Universal over a firstline belt (blackhawk) with KT suspenders. Extra ammunition for primary and secondary on the first line (BHI Hip Pouch and pistol mag pouch) as well as a Proud dump pouch and of course my Safariland.

kg3; don't bother with a sling like that. you'll learn to hate em after the second or third time you use em. I use to always rock on on my c7a1, c7a2, heck I even did it with a c9. but I learnt the amazingness of two points; specifically the vickers tactical sling. it's $70 (steep for a sling I know) but it's worth every bloody penny. best sling I've had for transitions and comfort (spreads it out better across the back).
as well; I'll be swinging by Darren's place (farmboy aka one shot tactical) and since he has some in stock, I'll try one on and try to give er a go to see what I think of it for you if you'd like. if I don't like it, generally no one should |

Yeoman - two point slings are great in the real world, but a great way to torque an M4. Remember what holds that front end to the receiver..a piece of plastic and two machine nuts with a friction lock.

well ive been looking at two point slings, i find them to obstructive. Keep in mind ive always used plate carriers so im used to having alot on. I prefered one points because they hang out of my way and dont fetch on my rig. Where ill have a lower profile now, maybe i can use one more effectively.

I have used one of those before and I will be getting one shortly.
I loved it too much. I agree that in conjunction with a good first line setup it's a very effective setup.
