You guys know nothing about exchange, duty, GST, brokerage and freight. Add to that the very meager (10% or less in many cases) of gross profit, $1250 license application fee and $600 annual renewal, and inevitable headaches associated with dealing with Asian retailers, CBSA and cranky "leet1337tacticalPWNJOONOOBS!!!! " idiots out there means that I wouldn't do it for the kind of money they make on this stuff.

Like I said, crazy laws. We have to pay twice, and sometimes quadruple the amount Americans have to pay for airsoft, it isn't right and it isn't fair. I realize all the things Canadian retailers have to go through and thus the higher price and I'm not blaming them, but it's still bullshit.

actually some retailers prices are there to get LESS business BECAUSE of all the laws and constant visits from government personnel.

though, there is no denying that some places add a huge markup and camouflage it as costs to import.

crazy laws and underage kids, the recent increase in cost (i think it was a 100$ markup) was due to too many underage kids trying to get into airsoft, by the time their old enough to play they wont be able to afford it unless they're civil engineers

I have a g36 and an mp5 the I bought in peices with no problems. if the package is 4 pounds or lighter it has less chance of being ranbomly checked.
