hey man for non-airsofters airsoft is "too much money" and "expensive"...you cant beat the feeling of it...i am sure after shooting it you'll get an adict and get the chills up your spine as you got it when you saw and shot your first airsoft gun...but yea, the restriction issue is different.

Asides from ejecting casings and a bit more noise and slight recoil (and paint... but I seriously doubt that was the selling point anyone is pushing), isn't this basically a really souped up airsoft gun in the end? Or am I missing something?

I mean, if you're going to be wearing the level of protection you'd need to wear in order to use simunitions, you might as well just shoot .29g BBs @ 450fps, you'll get that range and accuracy.

The rest is novelty. And even there, look at the KWC Mini UZI, that thing has amazing recoil.

Besides, the rounds suck balls for reliability. You're always slapping and racking every few shots.

Shooting airsoft sends chills down your spine?

Dont give this guy a firearm to fire, or at least make him bring a change of pants. He'll jizz all over the place.

Sim is great, but with all the equipment you have to wear you can't aim worth a crap, because the mask gets in the way, and everyone is friggin trigger happy, at least those I've been with, I got shot about 40 times point blank, and damn if I hadn't been wearing my bulky jacket I would have been screwed over big time. Though all the rounds that hit my legs broke skin, friggin hurt like a bitch. I like airsoft better, definately cheaper.

Cost is a problem, buying a real rifle is not so bad but a pistol is an issue. PAL required for those. Carry permits required also after registration of the guns.

Then, as mentioned, forget it unless you are Military/Police.

Not an alternative for us at all.

Well yes, I assumed that.

Just blending it with my curiousity of how people play paintball and afford it.

what about the conversion kits ? it`s really good to have the simunition but with out the kit ....
