From my experience.
Hurricane M4 reciever - You can just drop your mechbox in no problem. Gbox I used TM, Pro-Gear and Hurricane. Guarder New Generation M4 Series reciever Version 1 - Gbox fitment issues. Lots of filing to get it in. Gbox used TM, Pro-gear, Guarder and Hurricane Guarder New Generation M4 Series reciever Version 2 - Guarder corrected their mistake on version one. Gbox drops in with ease. Realistic details. The best M4 reciever I have ever owned so far. Gbox used TM, Hurricane and Pro-gear.

well i do agree with you guys that the VLTOR actual airsoft metal body would be a better idea. Major downside being; STEEL parts tend to wear down METAL parts depending on how well you put it together. personally id buy the airsoft metal body but if he wants the real steel thats what he'll get lol

I can vouche for the DTP metal body... BUT! the paint they use sucks... not strong as the G&P or hurricane.

i thought G&P was steel/aluminum for assault rifles?
I know G&P 249s are steel, it wouldnt weigh anywhere near what it does unless it was using 1/4" thick plates of magnesium lol i know for a solid fact that G&G uses magnesium alloys though |

I have used but not abused G&G M4 series for two years. Pretty solid.

anyone know anything about the hype surrounding systema receivers? My buddy is dead-set on getting that sr-16 kit from uncompany for like $400 (I don't think it's worth the money) ..

i know a guy that was leaning (not even full body weight) on his G&G AK and broke his stock
magnesium is on the same level as low grade aluminum. It sucks. remember, just because it says "metal" doesnt mean it contains iron, clever marketing scheme though. |

G&P - better paint work than Hurrican. Magnesium body makes it easy to break but i don't think ppl play too rough in skirmishing. reasonable price
Hurrican - the paint work is quite shiny than G&P, solid body but pricy Guarder - need modification, not easy to install, the price is ok |
