Who said the FN was prone to prblems with sand and dirt? If someone said that, I would venture to say they never actually USED it. As to heavy? Yeah, it was, but that is a good thing. Very few get back up off the ground after a butt stroke from an FN.

KA site has it listed as "Now Availiable!" They have also posted RAS kits for both lengths.
