THE SOURCE BY CIRCUIT CITY!

They don't carry the diflouroethane. And its not that expensive there either $8 a bottle last time I was in to the one here in Kanata.

I get mine at like $7 for 226g (Blow Off Duster) at a local computer store (CP Computers) at Midland and Finch. They usually sell for like $7.99 or something there, I can a small discount since I know the guys well. They have about 24 cans left last time I was there.

Curcit city (the source) makes their own brand of tetraforathane. They dont follow whatever law, and sell it @ rate of 15$ for the bigger cans 10 for smaller (young and eglinton center)

Falcon is also difluoroethane.

Zellers sells HFC134A 1-1-1-2 Tetrafluoroethane in 12 Oz. Bottles under 'The Blaster' name, made by Belkin in a red and white bottle. Price jumped up recently to 12.97 from 10.97 since they picked up Fellowes brand Difluoro. SKU is 4612 3873 (I bought a bunch from them, but they don't carry much per store so I had get some from another store)

And The Souce (By Circuit City) sells their 12 oz. bottles (marked in a blue and white container) under the Nexxtech (IIRC) brand for 14.99. They have a smaller one for eight dollars, but it's not really worth it. I lost the SKU tag on the one bottle I had...

Edit: Beaten to the punch.

PM'd. Apparently those 450g cans are good for almost 60 re-fills. HA! 120 re-fills for me.

I have a can of Blow Off duster - it's the stuff previously mentioned, coming through Computer Plug Inc.
It's got an after-the-fact label put on it declaring the contents; along with the 1,1,1,2 Tetrafluororethane, it also lists petroleum hydrocarbon.

I've not seen that declared on any other that I've used, and wanted to see if anyone has knowledge/opinion on whether this is typical of all duster gas, or a cause for concern. Seeing the term 'petroleum' on there gives me pause...

If it's fine, I'm going to acquire some more =]

Any info appreciated.

You really gotta ask the sales people, since places like futureshop/bestbuy cannot carry duster on the floor. I picked up some the other day and they needed to get it from the back and carry it to the front cash...like its dynamite or something.
