i found a vest that interests me but i dont know if it holds ak mags, it just says "rifle mags"

Generally vests like that are more designed with STANAG (M16/M4) magazines in mind.

yep. black = teh suck you might aswell wear a neon orange vest, because black stands out like a sore thumb. The plus of a black vest is, when the sun comes out, your teammates can cook their foor on your vest.

as a user of a BHI cross draw vest in the past, they dont carry nearly enough. Especially mags. If it says it can hold 2 mags per pouch, your only gonna get 1 in. Cheap replica vests really arnt worth the material they are made of...If your dead set on a vest, get something with a bit more quality, such as a BHI.
Better yet, go something modular, since these vests prove themselves usless in very little time.

There is actually one particular team on the French side of the border that was dressed in tricolours and black tacvests for Rawdon. Now, while traditional thinking would dicate a more generic outdoor colour like brown, cb, tan, od green etc, they chose black, and it is there choice to make.....

If this fellow wants a black tacvest, even after advice otherwise, then so be it, let's try and get him some choices - comments from the peanut gallery go in the "trash disposal"; I just threw a few threads in there, happy hunting.

if i cant find one that holds ak mags is it possible to get just a black armor and attach a pouch to my leg or hip? iunno if this sounds stupid :P or actually could i get armor then put a harness over it?

ohhh and bruce are you free tomorrow for a verification? i finally dont have work :P and its the only day this week i dont have work.
