But if it's basically paintball you're playing, why not go for paintball guns then?

I would understand if you replied; well we like the look of replicas.

However the thing is there aren't replicas, they are clearsoft toys painted bright red with golden lightnings!

So please, tell me why do you play paintball with airsoft guns?

In the end, airsoft is all about the love of replicas.

Why do I have to explain my self, every time I tell you about our speedball tournaments??

The tourneaments is only for fun (well, for some of us )

If I wanted realism, I would have stayed in the army.

Hey I just like the fact we see it from other countires. being one who plans to take "airsoft holidays" over seas. I am interested in how each place plays. I may not like the style but I do respect their choices.

I respect your style or play mate and have nothing against it although I wouldn't play it and it really was only a question. Cultures differ from country to country and I happen to be a curious person so I think it is quite normal for me to ask questions which are simply aimed at educating myself a little more.

Like I said before, Toby is Danish. in Denmark they have different sets of rule (Like full face masks are mendatory). In America, we aim for a more Realistic approach of things.

Toby is nice enough to share the Danish experience with us, so we can appreciate how things are done elsewhere. We do it differently... so do they!

Its a mistake to believe that danish airsoft is only speedball, its only a small part. There is many danish airsoftplayers, who is playing Millsim.
