Forget the IASUS throat mikes. They are NOT very good at all. Get a Stinger boom mike. Pricey, but they rock.

Shugart, were you looking at the sniper belt system? It looks alright, but does not look too configurable, and is bulky. With the TT belt, you can attach any PALS/MOLLE compatible pouches, including single mag shingles, and pistol mag shingles. You wear it undeedr your main webbing/vest what have you, and if you need to ditch that, you still have some carrying capacity for a recce, or E&E, what have you.
