Also telling us that you make ths guns for under $40 USD may cause some of that bad business too... especially when we will have to pay $500+ once it's in Canada.

The assembly cost of the guns may be ~$40, but I don't think the total cost of each component PLUS $40 is that low.

In any case, I'm interested in how this product will turn out. Hope to hear more about it soon.

remember though that a guarder ftk that we pay $200 can. for probably cost $20 u.s. at the manufacturing level. sounds crazy, but absolutely true. the asian markets know how to make a shitload of money off the north american retailer. just ask wal-mart. btw, ho many hands have those guarder parts been thru from manufacturing to you, with duties, taxes, freight and mark-up at each step. minimum 4 times, but likely more.

Take the Nike example and apply it to Airsoft.

http://www-personal.umich.edu/~lorma.../nike101-8.htm

The raw materials might be $40 US, but there's no way a full metal AEG costs less than $40 US to produce.

Hey,
A necropost, but considering I started it in the first place and have news on the gun, I assume it's excusable.
Click the link for a picture of the receiver:

The FMC executive apologizes for the poor Photoshop job (hence, the pixel-infected area near the rear), but as for the trademarks and the general shape, it looks amazing.
I'll update with more info, seems that I'll be the guinea-pig to try one of these.

Truly looks stunning.

If the internals are good, very good chance that this may be one of my first (if not THE first gun) I (IE my parents) purchase.

Def. looking forward to a good review of sorts.

Working with Sam (Sam0182 on these boards, www.bcairsoftsupply.com), I'll be bringing forward a review shortly, along with one other. He'll be stocking them, you can inquire if you wish.
Review, pictures, and perhaps a short movie (perhaps with a comparison or two, target shooting, and perhaps an action one) shall follow. Cheers ;-)

Which C8?

I want one with an ambi-mag release and safety. If *any* company could do an AEG like that, hell even just a body would be nice, I'd be on one like a fat kid on a smartie.

Hmm...
Can someone who has experience with real-steels clarify this? I'm afraid that I don't know if it's 'P' or 'R', and they have promised to correct it if it's wrong.
