What's with all these people testing their guns on themselves?

keyboard is a crazy mofo...

i use a thin lightweight balaclava.. works great.. but if you are outdoors i suggest getting an OD or TAN balaclava to reduce heat absorbstioni from the sun on your head =)

Or just suck it up and take a face shot once in a while... It's not going to kill you and you won't look like a tool on the field.

Try Under Armour, they make both, a cold and hot weather balaclava. Plus they make alot of other great stuff too.

If I saw someone out on the feild with a face mask on, I would purposly aim for the face.

No kidding, maby it's just an Alberta thing, but half the feild I'v been to, we dont even have any real rules. If I know someone on the other team has a 550 fps sniper rifle, I will play alot better becasue I dont want to get hurt bad, and if I get shot, well, I just maby sit down for 5 mins and then get back out on the feild. and then I'v played games where people have had 400 fps aeg's and have tried to mercy me and I'v been able to pull out my pistol and shoot them. Depending on the situation I never will take a mercy kill. I'd just rather get shot.

Dang...if someone has a 550 fps gun on a field I'm at I'll call the cops. Isn't anything over 495 considered a firearm?

Go with the nomex belaclava (hatch one fits funny, try a different maker) and a sansei mask from jugglez. No fog and head covered, I have REALLY long hair and a beard so head heat is always an issue, even a hat makes me overheat.

No. This topic has been discussed to death many many many times on here before.

I dont think many people would want you playing with them if you are INTENTIONALLY shooting at peoples faces.

Its more or less COMMON SENSE to shoot for the chest.

Yeah. Try what they said or a cybergun mesh mask. If you don't like the mask you can remove it, but it is quite comfy and won't require new corneas. And BC_K, it is common sense not to hit the head, but who has common sense these days? I live in central Pennsylvania yet I post here.

some one mentioned using a stainless steel painted mesh cover instead of a lense, i was curious how that affects your visability, if at all. i only ask because i have worn fencing masks and found them to darken things a fair bit, but am very curious about a visor that wont fog up at all.

also to the guy posting about being worried about a face shot, i was like that the first time i played and used a paintballmask and just hatedwearing the thing. i got shot on the top of the head(the only part of my sticking out of cover) at about 4-6meters with an upgraded TM M4 and it just felt like someone whacked me on the head with a pen, it stung, but there was n o welt or bruise. after that i picked up a pair of bolle tactical and am gonna use them in my next game instead.
