No. Just place the 12-16 week order. Smaller size the faster.

C-Toms is the way to go. In my opinion replica plate carriers come in two varieties; cheaply made crap, and overpriced copies. If budget is an issue, go with a UR Tac Easy Plate, or a Cyclone or something.

ya, just place the order.

it's almost an 'out of sight, out of mind' situation. you'll eventually stop thinking about it, and then all of a sudden it'll just show up one day. at least that's the way i've been trying to go about it. :/

would JPC work best for CQB too? and can a map pouch be placed on the vest too or is there already a map pouch on the vest?

Yes it is, yes you can, and no there isn't. A JPC is a modern, lightweight, plate carrier. Designed to carry plates in front and back, just big enough to protect your vital organs. The naked rig comes in at just under 1 lb, and is designed to be fast. You won't get as much real estate as a Ciras, Interceptor, or STRIKE, but still enough to intelligently carry all of your stuff. This thing, like most modern plate carriers, is designed to be non-cumbersome, and this is one of the best.

Yep. I'm running a Ciras right now. Good rig but it's just too bulky. I hate shouldering my saw on it because it adds and inch to an already long stock

I got a hsgi small chest rig, loving how mobile I am with it. Going to test it out Thursday, should be good. Will look into a JPC to coming months.

By map pouch I'm assuming you mean an admin pouch or similar? The JPC does have a small integrated admin pouch right on the top of the front panel. its not very big but it is there

Yes the admin pouch is what I'm exactly looking for in a JPC, and is it adjustable too?

Adjustable as in the vest or the pouch? Because the vest is extremely adjustable but the pouch is only one size. Its literally a small cavity in the panel (think LBT 6094s). It'll stretch a big but don't plan on throwing your car keys, wallet and phone in all at once.

I currently have some chemlights, a sharpie and a small map in there and thats about it

The vest is adjustable to a point. The shoulder straps are adjustable and the cummerbund can "stretch". It's kind of tricky to explain how the cummerbund works so I'll just link the JPC's manual http://cryeprecision.com/Resources/e...2-JPC(Web).pdf

Just remember that the sizing for the JPC goes by the size of SAPI plates, you can run swimmer plates on a JPC but there will be slight fitting issues

Who sells MODI or Flyye in the Toronto area? Is Lancer JPC any good?

Has anyone tried a tactical universal clip on this vest?

Being a small JPC, what is the best hydration unit for it?

Tidepool will fit on it nice compact 1.5L

however a regular sized carrier isnt very oversized for it

I managed to score one off the classifieds.
Lancers version seems a little off in terms of the material used on the shoulders.
