Out of the 3 motors you have, I'd try the one that does have the strongest magnets.

Is it just me or did I read that the gun works fine on auto but not on semi?
For some reason the thread took a tangent towards shimming and motors, etc. |

After much tinkering, found the problem. It seems as if the (I'm guessing and the best way to describe it) "Contact Sled" or switch keeps getting stuck in the up position when the gear that engages the piston's cam hits the lever\cutoff that is engaged while in semi. Therefor cutting off my power. I've since then lurked the forums and found another thread that (most of you guys) had posted in. I prefer to learn on my own, and read to solve my problems as compared to whining. Now, I had heard one of you saying that you shaved a tad off the contact sled? My trigger is a "Speed" style trigger. I have shaved it down as not to interfere with any of the mechbox's internals so I'm almost certain it is not the problem. Where do I go from here? I've got 8 days until the event.
Now as for motors. The only thing available around my part (Tennessee) is a Echo 1 Max Torque for around $40 bucks. Is it any good? I'm not looking for a god like build, just up to 23-25rps and not over 350-360 fps. Is that motor better? I run a 7.4v lipo.... Again thanks for your help and I'm here to learn and listen..... |

Does it take one shot on semi and then every trigger pull afterward result in no sound or firing?
If so, your trigger post is broken. |

No, one shot semi and the contact sled gets stuck in the upward position. Then no voltage to the motor, because the trigger sled gets stuck facing down and the trigger won't reach the sled and the sled will not move forward. Then the only way to make it fire again is to disassemble the gearbox completely. I looked and the trigger post is not broken. might be the trigger is incompatible with the switch
could be the switch has worn could be a bad switch |

Tested it today, played with the lever, everything is working as it should (disassembled) I'm assuming there's pressure on the trigger sled, I'm going to try put this back together and report results (again). The new gears are slightly larger than the stock ones (I'm assuming this is normal due to ratios) I'm sorry GBBR, I haven't had time to get on messenger. I'm swamped, since I have a slacker night job I'll be playing with it tonight. I hope I'm not over posting.
here's the motor that's available to me at the moment: http://echo1usa.com/x/accessories/mo...-torque-motor/ I can't order anything as it won't get here in time.... Here's a pic of the gun in question just for kicks: Last edited by Ugly American; October 2nd, 2013 at 19:44.. Reason: to be more specific |

I fixed it. It had to do with the trigger sled/switch and trigger. The trigger was too far forward so the trigger sled could not properly back over the trigger. Hope this helps anyone who is having similar issues. Thanks for the help everyone!
