This is the GEN-1 SCAR-L prototype:

Notice its FNC-esque lower receiver, which initially lead some observers to believe that the SCAR was a further development of the FNC.
I think he meant Gen1 as in the first produced CA Scar-L's that were manufactured opposed to the current models being manufactured by Classic Army. Not the Real Steel counter-parts.

If you ever hold the new batch DBoy SCAR, you would be surprised by the external quality.

There are several experienced players mistaken dboy for a VFC already.

Just curious as to when these new batches started to come out?

Thanks Huang, this is the info I was looking for. just a confirmation on the external quality...cause I know the internal will be not the best. Now the only real question is Dboys SCar L or a WE GBB SCar L....they're the same price :/ Tuff call

I've happened to have the chance to see both VFC and Dboy's Scar L/H, to be honest, I 'd say that's a fair deal...for the price, but you can't really compare it with a VFC, on the other hand, Dboy Scar H is a big surprise in a positive way, I literally thought that was VFC on the first sight.

now speaking of WE and Dboy, I 'd go with WE Scar gbbr. much more fun to play with, also a reliable gaming platform.

I probably would buy the GBB WE but can't find it in stock for a decent price anywhere. So I believe myself on behalf of Bad Karma will be buying a Dboys Scar l and doing a complete review, comparisons against the VFC and G&G in stock and modded forms. Should be a fun project, I'll be sure to add the links to the videos to a thread on ASC when their done.
