I picked up a 4oz. tub FrogLube CLP after reading about it on this post.
Endorsed by Chris Costa and the Sig Academy.
It's peppermint fresh and has the consistency of cold bacon fat.
It makes everything smell nice and glide like its on ice!

Me-likey!

Superlube is ideal for the gear box because you need to lubricate plastic, rubber and steel parts. Being fully synthetic and safe on rubber, I have been using it for years with not a single issue.

Is Froglube safe on plastic and rubber?

If you can eat it, I'm pretty sure it's safe on rubber and plastic.

I put Froglube in my gearbox and pistol (switched both over from ultraslick) this past week, you don't need a lot applied and it does the job very well.

Also anyone looking to get Froglube, "One Shot Tactical" and DS Tactical (both Canadian Retailers) sell their line of products.

+1 for DS, they called me to tell me my item was out of stock and had the order mailed the same day. Great customer service!

I've been curious about Froglube for a few weeks now.

IIRC, the paste described as cold bacon fat becomes less viscous as the bolt of your real steel becomes hotter through regular shooting, correct me if I'm wrong.

I can understand this being great for an AEG as the gearbox will heat up and the paste will do as it should, but what about a GBBR?

Will the cooldown effects of running propane through the gun inhibit, or lessen the intended effects of Froglube? Wondering if anybody has utilized this and how it performed. Thanks.

I wondered the same thing, but according to the Frog Lube website it says that it is good for both Airsoft and paintball. It even mentions it being good for maintaining the O-Rings in a paintball gun. O.o

I actully just ordered some off amazon because of this thread for my AEG, and the metal slide in my GBB pistol.
=)

when you spread it on thin it is really slick even at room temperature.
I only ever used silicone oil in my gbb's until frog lube and I gotta say I'm not going back to oil.

Great, thanks for the info. I only ever used silicone oil in my mags or the nozzle o-ring anyway. Definitely picking a tub or two of this stuff!
