Last time I was there it was 350.

Think about why there is a limit! Does a "little over not by much" comply with a limit?

The fact you have to ask means you are worried about being over and already know the answer or at the least have a gut feeling it's probably not good to be shooting over the limit.

That place has years of paintballs shot through it and has layers and layers on the walls and floor.

The owners should find a way of cleaning it out.

I was there last friday and it's actually a lot cleaner then before. However they're going to charge anyone who takes out any of their new lights, which are apparently $200-300 each.

Damnit, we have to pay if we break their lights?
I was hoping to finally have a place where the host didn't explain "do not shoot up at the lights. There is nobody up there to be shooting at anyway".

Kinda pathetic! They could simply mount a sheet of lexan to protect the bulbs.

Why would it need to be mounted that close? How much heat do they dissipate?

They invested in better lighting. Wouldn't it be in their best interest to protect them from damage? Sadly, accidents happen. Lots of people are taught to hold their rifles with the muzzle pointed up. Would it also not be in their best interest to protect their guests from falling debris should a light fixture be shot out? It would be a health and safety concern for both their guests and employees.

Another main concern is players intentionally shooting at lights...

You may laugh... but at Rhino II, during the briefing I clearly and expressly stated that players were not to shoot at the lights... and withing 30 minutes of game start... I had one moron shooting at the lights...

When I asked "What the fuck are you doing, buddy? Why are you shooting at my lights?", his response was, "I'm not shooting at the light... I'm shooting at the light's housing so I know my gun is sighted in. I can hear it 'ding'."

After giving him my best "Are you fucking kidding me?" face, I told him not to do it again or I'll eject him from the field.

Point is.

Morons shoot at shiny things.

PB CITY has a thing about airsofters shooting out their lights .. because a number of years ago AS was banned there because of Airsofters intentionally shooting out lights to make it darker.

yes.. some people ARE that selfish and stupid...

When you have two storey buildings in play shooting up can present itself as the only option, know your background.

Simple trick of photography, they just set the camera to have more aperature priority rather than shutter speed to make it look bright without a flash look how over exposed the areas around the lights are.
