The only way I can get teh stoner AEG quiet is tuning the HPA down all th eway down to 75psi anything above that have a loud pop similar to a GBBR with the Firepig muzzle, my box mag has to be modified to keep up with the Fusion engine, it doesn't have that annoying whacking noise anymore, more liek a loud hummingthanks to the RC motor.

Last year when I was in Asia I did see a M249 GBBR in the airsoft Expo, the gas set up was actually in the mag with a ultra small CO2 bottle, from the info gathered it was running a smaller pressure than the Polarstar @ around 35-40psi which is extremely low for a big GBBR

External gas: blergh.

This [G Company] kit looks interesting cuz it'll feed from mags and that custom box mag.

The Daytona kit would have been okay if they made the gas come in through the feed port instead of through the pistol grip.

what I mean is to use the tank system used in this MP5 in the M249 to make it work with the classic box without having to use that M4 mag.

That would make a better support weapon.

Ugh... I really wish they designed it ground up as a box megazine only and ignore the AR-15 mag compatiability. US Army wouldn't even allow the soldier to use the 30 rounder (unless it's life or death) because it will not feed properly.
Think about it. The airsoft idea of box mag was poorly thought out. It's much harder to insert AR-15 adapter on box mag than if it was going through the belt feeding tray. I recall someone even say you need to connect the adapter before putting the box in.

This also apply to AEG MG.

I just hope that the realism folks will induce those MG manufacture to make low-mid cap AEG with a feasible mag change (ie put the bb tube feeding like a belt would)
