I need some help what can fit and feed in the king arms m4 with a good price... $40 to $70 that comes with 5+ mids
Been running the same set of MAG mid caps for 3 years, no maintenance, and they are still truckin! Recommend.

MAG mags have also been good to me, however their springs die very quickly if left loaded for too long. My dad left 4 of his loaded for about 4-5 days and they're shot now.

How good is the construction? I heard a person saying they smacked 2 pieces of plastic then put a piece of spring... That changed my mind alot, well the build I'm not quite sure and I know they feed fantastic in the KA m4, will they handle falling down in sandy areas? SGT.Splatters is like a deathhole...

While the KA mags look good...I was turned off of "metal" mags in general because:
1. they cost more
2. only the shell is metal...the rest is just plastic insert
3. the shell can get squished/bent to where they don't engage the mag catch properly
4. with some wear and tear and hard usage you can pull a mag from a pouch and end up with just the shell in your hand while the rest of it is still in your pouch

I had many Mag/star mags. Some fed better/consistently than others. Big upsides:
1. They're cheap. If I drop one in the field I'm not going to sweat it and spend time looking for it.
2. They're solid...and draw from the pouch and engage mag catch reliably
3. There's no lip on them (like the lip with the metal sheel and plastic insert of other mags)...so they don't hang up in pouches
4. They're light...so while not "weight accurate" you don't notice the extra weight after longs days/games.
5. If you take care of them (like any other mag) they'll last a long time....certainly long enough to get a good bang for buck out of them.
