so from the posts here i have a solution to alot of peoples problems.

DONT MAKE SMALL ORDERS!!!!

when you make big orders you save on shipping. the shipping from evike is internation and thus more expensive. so get a big order from you and your friends. its the same deal as if you order a 5$ spring from a store in canada and only expect 1$ shipping. thats still over 20% of your money going to shipping. if you and your friends get a 700$ order and its 70$ shipping you just dropped 10% in shipping.

yes you may get the wrong item once in a while but when your dealing with one of thee biggest airsoft dealers in north america its almost expected. it may happen more often then it should but it may have a reason for this. as evike is not a member of our forums *as far as i know* we have to talk about them from our experiences and not from a high ranking member of their business

Made three orders from evike.com $300, $500 and $70-ish. Had zero hard issues. The only hiccup was a stocking issue which their rep communicated to me within two days of placing the order and had it all sussed out a day after that. I have nothing but good things to say about them.

Its not just shipping or getting the wrong item, read up on the plethora of posts on the matter: its stuff not getting sent (at all), claims they never received payment when they did and having to go through paypal or visa to get money back, horrible or existent customer service, etc.

Plus when I wanna order something, I just want to order what I need not start managing a huge group order just because a retarded store insists on using UPS. And I cringe at the idea of sending $700 their way.

Yes, I've had one order go okay with Evike. But three others resulted in various problems. I don't need that shit and I don't encounter it with most other retailers.

Airsoft GI on the hand has screwed up several orders I have placed with them. Wrong sizes and wrong models etc etc.
I realy think its just your KARMA. Some people have no problems and others do.

You think it may depend on what kind of products are ordered?

To add to what Drake says, I've placed at least 30, maybe even 40 orders online last year, and I had only one go wrong, the Evike one. Karma has nothing to do with it.

Basically Evike is the cheap whore on the corner street, banging her doesn't guarantee you'll get AIDS, but when a bunch of people caught it in the past, you might want to go a bit more upscale.

I don't see why you still want to proceed here, sure there are some satisfied customers, they can't fuck up every order, but considering airsoft retailers are a dime a dozen, why not give your money to people with a better reputation?

EDIT: Ah, of course... http://www.evike.com/product_info.ph...ducts_id=35309

we've done 7 orders this year. 5 no troubles from the evike end, although 2 were seized at the border. 2 were very slow in communications with them, especially on one which had an item backordered, that they were going to replace, but then couldn't but then could etc etc. Shipping is HORRIBLE, shop in canada, prices are close when you add in high shipping and any upgrades you need done to get it to try to pass customs

well the only reason i would wanna order from evike is getting the more specific (or possibly rare) stuff i cant seem to find in canada.

ive emailed a few places in canada about these parts and have not gotten an answer of they cant get it.....

And to be fair about this as well i would rather order in canada for 1. supporting canadian retailers in the sport. 2. garunteed to not get grabbed by customs.

But like said the problem is finding these parts, evike has a lot of them, but from what i have read it either comes at a hefty price or no priduct at all due to lack of shipping(not the shipping prices, reliability) or the cbsa.

you guys have been helpful though, the feedback is hugely appreciated. Great community on here
