as much as a china lake would kick ass ( I know I would want one) ... but wouldn't a rotary launcher be a better option? ..
for a china lake, tube magazine style I can see one big issue... sitting in the tube, the nose of one 40mm would be against the firing button of the one in front of it...

The Tanaka/Airsoft Surgeon M870 with Madbull SS6 shells filled with CO2 for the best looking and sounding shotgun. It has a loud report and not some whimpy pfft sound, not to mention the sound when racking it. The 6 rounds are loaded in-line, but since the Airsoft Surgeon version removes the inner barrel you get a good 6 shot buckshot type spread.

And for the madbull shells, having personally owned 15. They always leak, no matter what you do, and thats on propane. on CO2, its even whorse. All and all your better of bying a TM shotty or a crossman. They are cheaper and wont brake as easy as a tanaka. So you can actually game it. |

For pistol and CQB games my G&P shotty are great but for the destructive path and the dreaded Rack and Bang department, airsoft shotty still comes up short unless they make a shotty type 40mm airsoft launcher that I didn't know about. So far aside from the uber expensive CL slugshot there are none in the market that comes up close to the real thing

I'm probably breaking a rule here pushing my WTB post but...
http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthr...90#post1549190 Sounds like there are some veterans here who have fielded some airsoft shotties and have given up on them. Does anyone have a busted TM Super 90 with a full stock for a project I'm working on? Guess what: it's a combat worthy shotty. Sorry, I have no details to release as I am still a longass way off from finishing this project. A few players have gotten to try out an early proof of concept model which they liked despite some niggling issues I'm ironing out.

Max, are you interested in the extendable stock version?

well not too long ago i though of something, why not combine the awsommeness of a pump with the destrutivity of a revolving grenade launcher? so i though of this a pump action revolving grenade launcher. you get the racking you want if built correctly and the greatness of 6 40mm's to shoot with.
so this would solve the probleme with the great racking sound and thebang of a 40mm, although its still not a true shotty. |

I didn't realize that TM made one with an extendable stock. Is your stock an aftermarket one? I think I recall G&P making a collapsible twisting stock. I don't recall if there was ever a M4 style stock.
need_a_name: I don't plan to develop anything around the 40mm Moscart until I finish my launchable grenade work. This project is taking quite a long time, but if I can pull it off, I'd consider making 40mm related products. Currently I fell the 40mm rounds are prohibitively expensive for use as a shotgun round. They're nice and loud, but I don't find the have enough reach.
