You can, and it won't really reduce the flex. The only way I know is a full metal body, and cocking tube, which equals a lot of money, and a very heavy gun.

I have a G3 SG-1, full metal (cept for the stock, pistol grip and a couple of stuff inside), RIS, and a bipod. Slings are a must for it, however, the place where you attach the sling to the stock (a little bar that screw in and out) and come out on you if you aren't careful.
The rifle is heavy as is and I wouldn't think about having an M203. The M203 and the bipod can't be on at the same time, unless you plan on mounting the M203 to the side of the RIS. The cheeck piece can be taken off if it gets in your way. If you want to be a support weapon then get a electric winding dual drum mag (which I plan on getting sooner or later).
Anymore questions? Then PM me.

Pics. of my girl (not really shiner like shown, the camera just made the picture come out that way).

you might want to just stick with something like an Aug, they have served me well for w while, and i dont have many upgrades you would be surprised what you can do with a stock weapon
another plus is the aug is cheaper than the sg1
also if your going to buy a rail system and not put much on except for a vert grip then you mind as well save a couple hundred bucks, but its all up to you so dont let me down

and by the way why do you hate mp5's?

G3-SG1 eh?
nice rifle.
Contrary to what some people here think, it DOES work as a cqb gun but it requires a little bit different handling.

I have been using an upgraded G3A3 for about 5-6 years now ( so I do not use it for cqb). And yes, it does have a Classic Army mechbox in it. I would not put anything else in it. This gun has not been opened since I had it. Shoots about 383fps. Range is about 100metres give or take.
In my neck of the woods it's sometimes known as the rifle that would not die. And the nice thing is, it will work in -20. 4 seasons of winter airsoft have convinced me of that.

I must have gotten a bum mechbox shell then, because the one I ended up with is total crap. The trigger did not line up properly, causing all sorts of trouble, ultimately a stripped spear gear without warning; and I assure you this had nothing to do with shimming, the gears were lined up perfect.

I got a Classic army CA33E wich if im not mistaken is the 5.56mm assault version of the g3sg1. Come with full metal body etc... I really like it, it shoot 315/320fps out of the box.

Only con is that some accessories need a dremel to fit (bipod and high mount made for tm)

here review links

Its imo a good alternative to the g3

It's my baby and my beast. PDI 170 (and all the reinforced internals to go with it), a nice bushnell scope, and a 6.04mm tighbore PSG1 length inner barrell covered by a silencer. It's a mean machine.

I'm about 5' 10" and 145 lbs, so some might consider this gun too big for me. I don't. Yes, it's damn heavy compared to others but I gain satisfaction in knowing that I'm weilding some heavy meat.

Issues:
Yes, beware of the fire selector. Nothing actually wrong or faulty with it, except it just doesn't "feel" great.
If you put a scope on, it adds a lot of extra weight, but like I said, beef behind the gun is fun.
The gun does have some creak. I've found that if you put a tiny bit of oil in the joints it helps a lot.
The bipod, while looking cool, doesn't serve much purpose. I've only used it a few times and that was simply because I wanted to use it, not because I had to.
Forget CQB

The Good Stuff:
Lots of room for upgrades and cool options.
Never had any real problems with the gun (minus internal troubles caused by me)
The looks. It's sexy (a matter of preference though)
The standard guff (long barrel, large mag capacity, big battery)

All in all, I love it, and I back it up. There's my bit.

Alex

Sorry to burst your bubble, but your 16. You need to be 18+ to buy/play(some areas).
Anyways, got the age out, for something to contribute to the thread.
What about an AK? Nice gun.
AS for the SG-1, I've held it and seen it up close, its a great peice and have lots of mods/upgrades you can do to your gun. As mentionned above, it will look nice as an sniper rifle or as a normal gaming rifle, very accurate and well made.

well i now i'am underage but i would think that if the government would let me have a .308 rifle i would like to think you people would feel safe with me have airsoft gun but it is all up to you. besides i have already played 2 times with tac-ops and they find me very mature for my age. plus if there were any legal problems my parents would put it under they name (but i would pay for it).
