Why don't you just make a trip down to your local surplus store and get your gear there. You can find some pretty decent stuff in those places.

...You should probably stay out of gear whore threads; first off all, FarmBoy was responding to an inquiry about a specific piece of gear from a not too well known gear manufacturer. I'm pretty sure that means Volatile Psychosis has done at least some homework to try and find what will work for him and what won't.

Secondly, the difference in quality between issue and 2ndary market is phenomenal; not just stichwork I'm talking about, but most high speed gear is made from direct feedback of been-there,done-that types. Proof? Take a look at the new CF vest, or MOLLE 1!

Lastly, many of us just like collecting gear the same way others'll collect baseball card, stamps, or in JustBob's case, STDs. If you can't understand it, that's fine, but please don't piss on us and try to get us to buy used '84 webbing or overpriced rippoffs of the M83 vest.

My local "surplus" store has about... 4 "tactical" vests beside their like, 5 air rifles with those silly orange muzzles. They have plenty of camo clothing, but even their selection of military boots is A) Second hand entirely B) contains like 12 pairs of boots.

I was going to carry Paraclete but because of their contract I would not be aloud to carry TAG, HSGI or Arktis at the same time.

There is a possibility that I might be able to get Eagle gear at some point however all I have done is spoken to some one about it. So I can't give you any more than that at this time. Sorry.
