Update: The gun just feels the need to break at every turn. After the filing didn't work and the switch up didn't work I tried shimming the blow back housing. That only forced the mags out of the magazine well after the first shot. I also discovered a crack in the pot metal near the rear site. I cannot believe the shoddy workmanship of this gun. It lasted me barely a season before it fell apart. If they up their game I would recommend this gun but until then wait for something else.

Sorry for the Necro but,
Does anyone know if RS grips will fit? Got one in chrome and real wood grips will add to the sexyness.

They do not. My real steel grips barely fit my tanaka, they are miniature sized on this pistol.

Yeah, I found out the same way. They can be modded, however. I plan on doing that pretty soon. I'll post up a guide.

I am looking for a leather holster for my baby and not many company's make a Hi-power specific holster, but a lot of 1911 gov. The length from trigger guard to front is shorter on the Hi-Power vs the 1911 gov. Would the front ends be close enough for this to work good? Anyone with both a 1911 and a Hi-Power feedback appreciated.

I just picked up a WE Hi Power through ASC's classifieds, and I'm loving it!

As expected, there's no real hop-up, but .25 BBs track dead straight out to 25 meters plus, and clock in around 300 fps, giving a fairly spicy amount of kick.

The fake woodgrain grips aren't unattractive, but I'll spray them black, to more accurately resemble Inglis grips.

Anyway, the gun has been fine so far, and I'm anxious to learn its ins and outs.

Now looking a bit more "Canadian", with Krylon srayed and sealed black grips. I also installed a rubber washer to act as a Shok-Buff. Anyone who's ever used a real steel, Browning designed gun will know how important and useful a Shok-Buff from Wilson Combat can be.

My teammates, many of whom own Tanaka Hi Powers, tried this WE for the first time, and were blown away by how easy it is to live with.

Here's a users tip I'd like to pass along: to drop the hammer, you have to have a magazine inserted to trip the mag safety. Instead of a magazine, just use one of those mag shaped BB loaders. The standard 100 round BB loader is almost exactly the same shape as a Hi Power mag. Use it, and there's less risk of an ND.

Looking wonderful dude .

I find if you just have the magazine inserted far enough to feel 'resistance' its far enough to drop the hammer without discharge. Easier that way for me.

this is the one I have and like the finishing. it is WE. I really hate the plastic grip, should custom made a wood one, may be?

Thumbs up Awesome

How much do these gun's go for in Canada? The American price is $110 but I'm guessing it's at least double that here due to the hassle of bringing them in. I'm looking for a silver one, though I am probably going to buy a black one as well.
