I like the FA-MAS. I used to have a TM one. It's the only piece of airsoft kit I sold that I really regret and am still kicking myself in the butt for.

I've liked the famas since day 1. somewhere around grade 4 or something when I first saw it...Why do SO many people think its ugly?

Only reason I havent bought one is availability of after market parts with version 1 mechbox and all

sursion how much and where did you get it? PM me if you want..Maybe its time I finally get the first airsoft gun i wanted

saayyy dont let em getcha down. i like it. but please, before anyone takes pics of new guns can you please pry that ugly piece of orange plastic off first? it ruins the sexy.

also if you dont mind asking where did you get it? pm if you dont wanna say publicly.

i found a springer famas a while back and ive really gotten used to the ergonomics, i want to make a chopped handle one (and i've wanted to do this since BEFORE fucking black ops stole my idea)

also, nice cat.

I tried taking the orange tip off. I spent a good half hour pulling, and twisting, and it would not come off. It feels like it's hot glued on there.

I'd love to hear some suggestions to get it off. I tried with pliers but I just ended up denting it.

It worked perfectly. Thank you very much. Like I feared, it was glued on, so it took a bit of the paint off (the tip looks all shiny now). But hell, I can live with it.

I took some pictures but they're super blurry

You can use some goo-gone or something similar to get rid of the glue residue, and then use some flat black Krylon to cover it up.

As far as the AK goes this is untrue for Airsoft. If you get a RS 56 i would love to c u fit any other brand of anything on it.

You make it sound like RealSword makes the only Kalashnikovs in the airsoft world...

The Type 56s might be the nicest, but they're hardly the only ones.

Was asking myself and many, but this tread comes handy for sure.

I'm looking for famas mags guys, I've a tm Famas and I know I can order TM mags from e hobby asia and they are made of metal... but damn, 30 box each (shipping mostly included in this count) it get easy over 100$ and I want more than 3 mags.

I've read Cybergun have a Famas that look pretty much like the tm one, and I've just step on this tread with the CYMA famas.

Do you know dealers that sell low caps (60 bbs) of CYMA or Cybergun?

Thank you

AFAIK only TM makes standard mags for the FA-MAS. $30/mag isn't bad either.

I think Fa-Mas are cool looking, but only if they are well accompanied.

Painted Fa-Mas are sexy.

lol. I can't stand FAMAS's that have scopes on them. The handle is a cool kind of ugly. Scopes are just too weird.
