Not so much crapsoft, than clearsoft.

If it your first gun, and your budget( by the looks of it ) is around 300, i would suggest a JG, or G&G cansoft AEG. They are decent starter rifles for there cost, and will do you good.

That being said, all airsoft guns, may they be clear or opaque, should be used properly, in a designated and safe location. ( ie. field only )

Ok I'm kinda stuck between the g&g m16a3 and the JG M4a1. But I was leaning more towards the JG just because I figures it would be easier to find compatible parts

Internally the g&g and JG should be same as they both use version 2 mechboxes and neither have anything proprietary. Externally they should both except the same external components as well.

Allow me to elaborate. If you wished to change external accessories:

A sliding crane stock and buffer tube should fit on a G&G M16 as it would a JG M4.
A magpul PTS grip would mount the same way on both.
A RIS front end should work on either receiver as long as the threading is the same.

Ok I understand now. I was wondering if u could clarify something else for me. When installing a different RIS, would any type work (ex. Free float rail syste
)?

Instead of the term installing lets use the world replacing. For example with an M16, say it had the standard fore grip. You would actually replace the fore grip entirely with an RIS system. Your barrel would remain the same however things like your delta ring and front sight maybe changed. You may use any brand of front end you wish as long as the threading (imperial or metric) for the barrel nut matches that of your receiver.

Ok unfortunetly most of the RIS I was lookin at didn't say wether it was imperial or metric. Would the delta ring come with the handguard or would I use the same one from the stock handguard?

Everything you would require should be included unless other wise stated. If you have concerns then it would be best to contact the company that you are intending to purchase from and confirm with them before making any decisions.

Yes, i believe so.

You would have to remove the Buffer tube, and crane stock, then screw the full stock into the mounting bracket where the tube was bolted.

If im wrong, please correct me
