I agree. eHobbyasia has ripped me off too. Just a few weeks ago I orderd a sight for a G36. (Looks like a triangle with a built in laser). What did i receiver... nothing even close to a G36 sight.... I got an ACOG red/green dot sight. Here's the funny thing, if you look on their website, they dont even sell this sight. WTF!
So, I contacted them 3 times with no response. Great customer service there fuck jobs. So i've given up now..... but seriously, an ACOG doesn't even look anything like a G36 sight.... they didn't even try a simlar product. Conclusion. eHobbayasia is very unprofessional. I would never buy from them again. And niether should you.

Oh man, that really sucks. That's pretty much one of the worst possible scenarios after waiting weeks for something to arrive.
To add to the better Hong Kong retailers, I bought my DBoys SIR off of RSOV, and got it in a matter of weeks with no problems. |

Wow! As a site supporter/sponser, you would hope they will take note of these comments and get their shit together. All this fail will quickly translate into lost sales.

I don't really think they care. Folks will still place orders with them until they get screwed. Nothing says that we as players can't start a buy from a Canadian retailer first innitiative. If there is a market for parts, one of more of the retailers in country will be more than glad to fill it.

I've actually had two incidents occur with orders from eHobby (one of which wasn't their fault, it was clearly a handling mishap by either HK Post or Canada Post) and they were expedient in fixing the problem both times; once I received a mangled shipping envelope which looked like it either got caught in machinery and/or caught fire (no joke, I have pics) and another where an unopened package was missing a set of screws. In both instances eHobby was very quick to get me replacements (even if the shipping thing wasn't their fault), no hassle whatsoever. So eHobby remains a top-ranked retailer in my book, along with the likes of AirsoftParts (truly unbeatable), M.E.C. and CamelBak (if you ever had a problem with your CamelBak product and contacted them, you know they're serious about their products).

I'm sure that many people have had positive experiences with them, just as many people have had good experiences from Buy Airsoft and Dragonwindsor. The problem with that is when you get what you pay for that is the way its suppose to work and therefore not something special. People generally will tell everyone they can about a bad experience but not bother with a good. And I must admit that when I emailed them about the battery they offered a replacment at once, but I had to pay to send the defective product back. I however bought mine from their ebay store with free shipping, to then have to pay an extra $50 to get a working product I already paid for is inexcusable.

I hear you, and the descriptions they give about some things aren't even close. Like today, I just got my order from them, I had ordered two Hot Power Lipo batteries that they had, they were 7.4v 4400MaH packs. In the picture it shows it with Deans connectors, it came with large tamiya connectors so now I have to change the connectors, and in the description it said the measurements were 128mm x 46mm x 15mm, but actually its abit bigger then that which sucks cause I've got the short full stocks on my M4 so with the wiring it sits pretty much flush with the top of the stock.

Basically, I just researched what I was buying before I bought it - cross compared similar/the same products to other sites and hunted for reviews. Where reviews didn't turn up, I looked for fitment/compatibility issues or just even a passing word on how such-and-such a product turned out to be a dud. Buyer beware - especially if the site carries a variety of qualities of parts. Ensure you know what you're getting before you order it... if there's any doubt, email the people (though eHobby is butt-fucking slow and has even worse Engrish) to confirm that the exact item you want is in stock and will be shipped to you. By the way, want to post those pics, Drake? I'm a little curious now haha Last edited by juicy; March 17th, 2010 at 20:14.. |

Check out what ehobby asia wrote. This is from the same customer service - CS3:
Turok, I have already arranged the paperwork for the resending of your mount. It should have left or be leaving anyday now. I will also arrange a small coupon to cover some of the postage. For Reply, please reply to this email address, and also include the content of this email Best Regards, eHobbyAsia - CS3KM Hey C3KM, I have received the new sight today. You mentioned below that you will arrange a small coupon to cover the postage? I didn't receive that in the mail today. Would you mind giving me the code? Thanks Turok Turok But you hate us now. And never want to purchase from us again. You have intentional tried to damage our reputation, yet you still want a coupon? If I arrange a small coupon for partial payment of the postage, you will revise your statement. Or at the least include all the facts that you missed in your post. For Reply, please reply to this email address, and also include the content of this email Best Regards, eHobbyAsia - CS3KM |

Dude, they have a pretty valid point...You publicly dissed them and said you were done with them. BUT that said they should still give you what was agreed to, whether you use it or not is your decision not theirs.

My response to their email:
But you hate us now- Actually, i dont hate ehobby asia, I hate HIM, CS3KM. I never thought someone from "customer service" would be that horrible. I never met someone as low and egotistical as him You have intentional tried to damage our reputation, yet you still want a coupon? - When I read this I was kinda laughing. I liked how he said I "intentionally" tried to damage their reputation when: 1. they send me an incorrect item 2. they send me an item that was opened / not genuinely as described on their site (CS3KM admitted this himself that gun docs open it briefly for their new gun builds and repackage it. I saved his emails so i can quote it verbatim if you like just as proof) 3. they tried to "reimburse" me with an INSTORE coupon for the shipping cost when they should be crediting the shipping cost back to my paypal account since THEY mailed me the wrong item 4. I sucked it up and paid for the entire $58CAD shipping cost by conceding with this low life. Then he offers to give me a coupon but writes "yet you still want a coupon" (i copied and paste verbatim what he said above)?? He offered the coupon to me in the first place, and now he is saying "yet I still want a coupon?" I do not need to damage your reputation, you have damaged it yourself. I have listed the facts (ALL the facts) of the situation and you dug yourself into this hole. You can ask all the other members on this forum re: their experiences with ehobby. im not the only one with complaints If I arrange a small coupon for partial payment of the postage, you will revise your statement. - I will not revise anything because I stand true to what I said, and I have nothing more or less to contribute. I tell people what happened and they can come to their own conclusions about ehobby asia. This guy is suppoed to be "customer service". He demonstrates a lack of professionalism, does not exhibit any professional etiquette, and by far, the worst customer service I have encountered in my life. Can you believe it? He put the blame on me! I have dealt with much friendlier people at ehobby like Samantha and Kelly, and they are extremely polite, courtesy, unlike this guy. Even if you call people from Rogers or Bell or Dell, they might be clueless in helping you, but at least they are polite and dont put back the blame on customers.
